Alex Watson BSc (HONS) OST.

CEO and Clinical Director

I founded Osteopathic Consultancy in July 2000 after qualifying from The British School Of Osteopathy. With help from my wife Sharon, Osteopathic Consultancy has grown considerably over the years. The path of Osteopathy was shown to me when I had a shoulder injury whilst swimming. I swam at National Level for many years until my shoulder injury. I then had mainstream medical treatment to try to help my pain. This ended with an Orthopaedic operation on my shoulder. At this time my swimming coach gave me the idea of going to see an Osteopath. I was quite negative about having help from what I saw it at the time as a non-mainstream medical practitioner. I was in such bad pain my parents and I thought we would give it a go. I was very impressed with the Osteopath I saw, his knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology was second to none and he greatly helped my shoulder, leading me to be pain free.

Through my teenage years I also played Football at county and Golf at district standard. With this obvious background in sports I always assumed that my path in Osteopathy would follow sports injuries. When training at the British School Of Osteopathy my interest in sports was maintained, but I began to realise that the use of general Osteopathic medicine could bring great benefits to all types of people from all walks of life. Within the course at The British School of Osteopathy numerous special clinics were run. I participated in these clinics, which consisted of paediatric (children’s) maternity, geriatric (elderly people) and the sports clinic. In my clinic I see patients from all walks of life and I absolutely love it.

Charlie Bruce M.Ost

Osteopath

After earning my Master’s degree in Osteopathy I became a certified Pilates Instructor with Osteopathic Consultancy and I love what this adds to the role.
I have always been fascinated by the body’s inherent ability to self-heal and this was apparent after receiving my fair share of injuries playing in my school’s first team for football and tennis. I pursued my interest further by studying osteopathy at Swansea University. There, the extensive academic training in anatomy and physiology, combined with years of hands-on clinical experience has equipped me with an in-depth understanding of optimizing the body’s function through musculoskeletal balance and posture. My aim is to provide manual and holistic approaches to facilitate the body back to health.
I have always wanted to help those around me and there is no greater satisfaction than developing a patient’s understanding of their own body so that together we can reach personal goals and achieve long-term health.

Ieuan Fraley M.Ost

Osteopath

I attained my Master’s degree in Osteopathy from Swansea university.
My osteopathic journey started in my teens, having experienced back pain throughout my rigorous sporting regimen throughout my adolescence, I was amazed at the holistic and patient centred approach osteopaths lend themselves to. The arduous anatomy and physiology training, philosophical principles of osteopathy and hands on clinical training helped me understand how to best help to body to function. The way in which the body naturally adapts, its ability to self and my interest in understanding more about my back conditions drew me to the profession and my empathetic nature inspired me to help others experiencing musculoskeletal injuries. Combining these experiences allows me to deliver expert individualised hands on care and advice, as well as helping others achieve personal goals, a better quality of life and optimised health.

Mohammed Al-Nabhani M.Ost

Osteopath

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from Swansea University, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people move, feel, and live better. My fascination with the body’s ability to heal itself began early, shaped by my own experience recovering from sporting injuries and a deep-rooted interest in human anatomy and movement.
Through rigorous academic training and hands-on clinical practice, I developed a strong foundation in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. I take a holistic and patient-centered approach, combining expert hands on treatment, movement education, and tailored exercise to restore balance, improve function, and prevent future issues.
My goal is to empower each patient with the knowledge and tools they need to understand their own body and take control of their recovery. Whether we’re working towards pain relief, better performance, or improved well-being, I believe in supporting my patients at every step of their journey and celebrating progress together.

I joined the Osteopathic Consultancy team in May 2017 as the clinic administrator. I had worked at DFS for 3 years and decided I wanted something to fit in with my family life. I have seen many changes in the clinic over the years, and loved watching it grow to where it is now. I love the relationships I have built up with the patients over the years. We are a busy clinic and I love working under pressure. In October 2021 I was promoted to administration and reception manager. I am looking forward to my future at Osteopathic Consultancy and developing my role further.
